Jacaranda and market

We were going to the market in Kirribilli, a neighborhood on the north side of the river. And they have beautiful jacaranda trees there. It turned out the market wasn't every week, but every two weeks, and not this week. But no worries, there are several markets on Saturdays in Sydney. We decided to go to Kirribilli first for the beautiful trees. We weren't the only ones with that idea. All sorts of people wandered the streets taking pictures; it's a beautiful sight indeed.

Lunch in the park next door, near the harbour where they were setting up falcons.

Afterwards we went to the market: on The Rocks, the oldest part of the city.

Bought something nice for the neighbor. Then off to Bondi. The plan was to do a coast walk. It ended up being a bit shorter, though, because there was art along the route, Art on the Ocean, that was worth seeing.

The city bus stopped in the middle of a busy street, and after that, the driver had to hiccup for a few more minutes until she found a safe parking space.

Brought pizza slices to see the fireworks in Darling Harbour every week! (Last time it wasn't fireworks, but a drone show). The fireworks were short and sweet:
