The Ideavakantie.nl The site was created to share fun posts during our Australian vacation. After a few days in Sydney, we'll head to Cairns, at the top of the east coast, and then drive back to Sydney. We'll spend another week there with Carmen, who will show us the whole city.

For the techies: The site is built in WordPress, with various plugins to enhance it, such as Blocksy, Mapster, and TranslatePress. It's hosted on Arthur's HP thin client. He was able to snag the domain idemavakantie.nl for €0.01. That was a steal! 🙂 The site runs in a container under Proxmox, on top of Linux Debian. CrowdSec protects the site against thousands (!) of attacks per day. The site has a full daily backup.
